Freedom-Walk volunteer groups, churches and individuals work to minister the Gospel in the following areas:
 
Evangelism

Crusades are held periodically in several prisons in Texas.  Guest evangelists, musical groups, testimonies and prayer are all part of the crusade experience.

Church and Worship Services are held at the prisons on Sundays. 

Discipleship
 
Discipleship for Inmates and Ex-Offenders through a Bible-Based 12-step recovery program, entitled  "Bridge Builders".  It is designed to be beneficial for alcoholics, addicts, inmates, ex-offenders and their families. 

Bible Study classes are held in various prisons in the evenings.

Bible Study by Correspondence is available to inmates in three parts of foundational truths.

Marriage Enrichment Seminars held in the prisons for inmates and their families at different times throughout the year.

Exhorters

Correspondence volunteers encourage inmates through card and letter writing.

Christmas Gifts are collected and distributed to inmate families on behalf of the inmates.  This effort is coordinated with several churches and the Angel Tree Ministry of Chuck Colson.

Aftercare

Aftercare for ex-offenders is available on a one-to-one basis.  Volunteers help inmates get housing and jobs which eases the transition back into society.

Bibles and Literature

Bibles, Bible Dictionaries, Concordances, Books and Literature donations are taken by volunteers and distributed to prisoners , prison chaplains, and prison libraries.

Prayer

Prayer requests are taken at all prison services held within the prison units, from this web-site, and by phone.  They are read and then prayed over by several prayer groups and churches associated with the ministry.
